Happy Paws  was just what I needed, right when I needed it. My 13 year old miniature schnauzer, Macbeth, was diagnosed with kidney disease and I had to add a midday walk to his routine. I had a lot of trouble finding someone I was willing to trust to care for Macbeth, I had called some of the larger companies and was not impressed. I was looking for someone who would love my little guy as much as I love him and someone who would treat my senior citizen like one of their own. I was so happy to find Happy Paws! I never had to worry about Macbeth,
knowing Martyne was coming in to walk him everyday.

A few lines to express my great appreciation for Happy Paws Walking Services, who really knows how to handle and relate to dogs.

My “Paddy” is a West Highland terrier highly spirited and often more than I can handle, but with Martyne he’s very relaxed and a happy companion when he returns from his walk.

When the doorbell rings and it’s Martyne he knows it’s his favorite friend and I can hardly contain him in order to open the door for her. What would I do without you Martyne.

Martyne's dedication, caring and patience is greatly appreciated both by myself and my German short-hair pointer, Riley.  I don't have to worry about Riley not getting enough exercise - she's usually exhausted/sleeping when I get home!  I love the reports Happy Paws sends letting me know of Riley's "escapades" during the week.  I would highly recommend Happy Paws services to any dog owner...Thanks Martyne!

With 3 young boys and a very busy household, Martyne is a lifesaver. She is professional, trustworthy, always pleasant and one of our dog's favourite people! Our Visla needs intense exercise daily, more than a mere walk around the block, and she delivers. He leaves full of beans and returns totally worn out. Anytime we have been working on a particular aspect of his training, she is happy to compliment our work and follow through from her end. Her updates on his "adventures" are delightful to read. You can tell she really cares about her canine clients, and knows them so well. Rain or shine (or even snow storm!) she is dependable. Her services are a total asset to our family and we would be lost without her.

Happy Paws has been wonderful to our miniature dachshund, Hannah. Hannah seems to know when Martyne is coming down the hallway to pick her up,
she dances by the door with excitement. Even on the coldest days, when Hannah is curled up on the couch keeping warm, she is still beyond thrilled to see Martyne and go for a run outside. Hannah is certainly
a better dog as a result of her time with Happy Paws.

Happy Paws has been there for us since we got our beagle, Toby, one year ago.  She is professional and attentive to Toby, I often ask her for advice and never fails to answer my questions.  Toby simply loves Martyne. He goes crazy when he sees her and sits by the door crying when she has to go. He certainly must love his days out in the park with Snoopy and friends! I definitely would recommend her to anyone who loves their dog.

Maggie had never been in group walks and she had recently moved from the country in Louisiana. It was somewhat of an adjustment for her. She was snappy with other dogs and just seemed to be anxious when I got home from work. I had interviewed with a few walkers but something clicked with Martyne. In the first couple weeks I noticed a huge change in Maggie. She seemed to be calm when I got home from work and she was less snappy when I took her to the park.
Its been a year and a half now and every time I come home its like she wants to tell me about her walk that day. I have come home and have found her sleeping as if to say it was such a busy day lol. When I have to leave for work I tell her she is going for her walk and she seems to know, she doesn't try to run out the door with me anymore.
Happy Paws has been very accommodating with my schedule. I have been able to call last minute to get walks for Maggie without difficulty. Maggie has scheduled walks for 1 hour and those truly are one hour from the time she gets to the park. I have been home a few times and Maggie is always gone for almost 2 hours. Maggie has even boarded quite a few times and the last time she lost her winter weight because of all her activity. Whenever there has been a situation, like Maggie not feeling well that day, or perhaps being mischievous and rolling in nasty stuff, lol, Martyne has been great about informing me and taking care of Maggie.
Maggie and I just wanted to say thank you. Maggie is such a happy girl when I get home. Happy Paws was the best thing I did for her.
